ER316/316L Stainless Steel TIG Rod

ER316/316L is used for welding types 316 and 316L stainless steels.  It has a maximum carbon content of .03% to reduce the possibility of formation of intergranular carbide precipitation.  This low carbon alloy is not as strong as 316H at elevated temperatures. 

Typical Applications:   

• Primarily used for welding low carbon molybdenum bearing austenitic alloys
• Food and Chemical processing 

Available diameters: 

• .035, .045, 1/16, 3/32, 1/8
• 1 lb tube (Blue Demon Brand, AWS Certified Only)
• 10 lb sleeve (CWI Brand, CWB Certified)
• Rod length is 36″
• Premium Quality TIG welding rod

• .045″ (1.14mm): 36 – 40
